Before you ever undergo a procedure that requires foreign material to be placed in your nose, you need to get as much information on any and all risks associated with this material. This material is not suggested to be placed in a patient who suffers from cancer and diabetes. This material caused damage to my skin both internally and externally. This material caused my tear ducts to continuously water and caused a type of sore that formed on the upper roof of my mouth and at the side of my nose. Each and every time this happen, my nose and left eye would swell up along with my lips. This material caused me a great deal of pain that was continuously there until the material was removed. I have not experienced any of these problems since the Gore-Tex was removed. Results of Goretex.
